Sumitomo Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. launched a new material handling machine "SH120LC - 7MH" (Long Boom) and "SH 120LC - 7EC" (standard boom) that conform to the 2014 standards for specified special motor vehicle emissions regulations.
A material handling machine is a machine that can efficiently handle large quantities of scraps in a short time by attaching grapples (for nonferrous metals) to a hydraulic excavator. This new material handling machine based on SH120-7 improves swing lifting performance by 10%. In addition of being in a position that makes it easy to view working conditions, the cab can be ascended and descended by elevator. It is designed to suppress shaking during work and equipped with the latest reviewed features to realize work performance and safety. The SH120LC-7MH adopts an elevator cab and a long boom to lengthen the working radius, and can grasp things further away. In addition, EC adopts elevator cab.
【Main features】
(1) Basic performance
①10% improvement in swing lifting performance expressing workability.
②Working radius is 1,000 mm larger than standard machine and it is possible to work further.
(2) Working performance
①CAVIS (Cab Anti-Vibration Intelligent System) reduces shocks during startup and shutdown and prevents cab shaking. Fatigue of the operator is alleviated and contributes to improvement in workability.
②Stopping distance for preventing interference is improved by adopting a new system. As a result, the actual working range has been expanded up to 900 mm as compared with conventional models.
(3) Safety performance
①Company’s own FVM (Field View Monitor) is installed. Safety confirmation can be easily done by a wide angle of 270 degrees and an overhead image from the sky. The camera can switch, realizing a monitor image easy to see at night.
②The cab interference prevention function, the elevator cab fall prevention valve, the elevator cab emergency descent device, the large under view mirror are installed and the safety is enhanced.
